What is the difference between the Scream-A-Torium and the Spooktacular at the Scaregrounds?A: The Scream-A-Torium is the heart of our Scaregrounds, offering a high-intensity haunted house experience designed to terrify even the bravest of souls. It features multiple themed rooms, live actors, and state-of-the-art special effects to create a spine-chilling atmosphere. On the other hand, the Spooktacular is a more family-friendly attraction within the Scaregrounds, perfect for those who enjoy a spooky yet less intense adventure. The Spooktacular offers interactive exhibits, milder fright elements, and engaging activities suitable for all ages. Both attractions reflect our commitment to providing top-tier scare entertainment, but cater to different levels of thrill-seekers.

What are the operating hours for Scream-A-Torium Scaregrounds?Scream-A-Torium Scaregrounds is open the last three weekends of October (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) and on Halloween, from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

Where can I purchase tickets for Scream-A-Torium Scaregrounds?Once we release our dates, tickets can be purchased on our website or at the main gate during the event. Gates open at 5:30 PM. You can also purchase them at the Haunt Shop on Main Street in Ferndale.

How many haunt attractions (haunted houses) do you have?This year we will have 2 indoor and 2 outdoor haunts.

Is the haunt suitable for kids at Scream-A-Torium Scaregrounds?A: Scream-A-Torium Scaregrounds is designed to be the North Coast's most terrifying Haunted House, and as such, it may not be suitable for young children or those who are easily frightened. Our haunted attractions feature intense scares, realistic horror effects, and actors who are trained to create a truly spine-chilling experience. We generally recommend our haunt for visitors aged 13 and older. However, parental discretion is advised; some children may handle the scares better than others. We do offer a "lights on" tour for those who want to experience the haunt without the scares, making it a more family-friendly option for younger visitors.
